Why it matters

Work that runs past midnight used to either vanish from the day it belonged to, or get misread as an AM clock-in on a 12-hour clock. AmOS now finds the still-open shift regardless of date, credits the hours to the day it started, and marks any next-day timestamp with a small +1 so nothing about the crossing is hidden.
